“ I was working in the area and saw this Luby's. I had not been to any Luby's in YEARS so I decided to go. I was excited they had a drive through. I ordered a 3 vegetable plate and a lemon ice box slice. The mashed potatoes must have just been done because they were creamy and actually mashed. I thought the lemon ice box came with a black berry on top, but that's OK because it was still delicious! The woman who took my order and prepared my food was very nice! Thank you Luby's for a wonderful experience and fast lunch! ”

“ Luby's in Baytown is a throwback to a previous era. They ALWAYS have a great selection of varied dishes, unique to the area. It is generally very fresh, and the portion sizes are just right. What I appreciate about the Baytown location is the staff. I have NEVER met an inhospitable person, in any role there! There's always smiles, they're cordial and ONLY want to assist their clients. You can't go wrong at Baytown Luby's. ”
“ We were visiting a family member at the hospital, so we walked across the street to Luby's for lunch. It's been a while since I've visited any of these, but I knew they would have a large selection to choose from. I had the turkey leg with gravy, and Sherry Ann had the salmon. I also had some fried chicken, and I know that's a lot of food, but I was pretty hungry. I got the beans and cabbage as my sides, along with a jalapeno corn bread muffin and a pistachio pudding. The chicken was by far the best thing. I'm so glad I decided to go big and add this to my meal. The turkey leg was a bit cold, and I'm sure they would have warmed it up for me, but I was too hungry to care. I ate everything I had ordered. Sherry said her salmon was dry and ate half of it, I ate the rest and it was a bit overcooked but that's only because when I cook this at home I cook it to medium, or medium well. If it was on a salad or with sauce, it would have been fine. I know that this kind of place is trying to make sure that all the food is cooked completely through, so it's not a surprise to me. I thought all the food was great, the service was spot on, and I would go back to this location again. The choices all looked great from the line, I could have gone so many different ways with my food choices, and that's why I decided to leave a review. That fried chicken though, was great, and I'm a fan of good fried chicken. ”
